Barbie Sue Daniels Martin

Mrs. Barbie Sue Young Daniels Martin departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days. She was born June 12, 1947 in Waterloo, AL, the daughter of the late William Bill and Audrey Sharp Young.

She was united in marriage to James Ellis Martin on July 3, 1995.

Mrs. Martin was retired laundry supervisor from Glenwood Nursing Home and was a member of the Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James Ellis Martin of Collinwood, TN; son, Bobby Louis Daniels in of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Julie Sue Sherron of Madison, AL and Amy Joyce Pearson of Greenhill, AL; grandchildren, Canadian Lunsford, Victoria Rhodes, Harley Sherron, Kyra Daniels, Talon Daniels and Gunner Pearson; step-daughter, Teresa Wright of Waynesboro, TN and sisters, Bonnie Bevis and Jewel Scott both of Waterloo, Al.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a son, Joey Daniels; grandchildren, Hunter and Mackenzie Sherron; sister, Shirley Young and brothers, Cletus (Skeet) Young and Roland Young.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Wayne Woods and Larry Burbank officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Thursday, February 28, 2019, 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home in Collinwood.
