Nola Beatrice Vickery Broyles was born on December 3, 1928, the daughter of the late John Henry and Ora Lee Balentine Vickery. On October 24, 1952, she was united in marriage to Bobby Ancil Broyles, who survives. Nola departed this life on September 27, 2017, at the age of 88 years, 9 months, and 24 days.
Nola was of the Christian belief. She was a homemaker all of her life. Nola enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Gardening was one of her favorite hobbies.
In addition to her husband, Nola is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Carson and husband Andy of Dixon, Missouri, Wanda Faye Parrish of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa Franks and husband Ronnie of Savannah, Tennessee, and Elisa Foster and husband Tim of Springfield, Virginia; sons, Ken Broyles and wife Donna of Crump, Tennessee and Rickey Broyles and wife Maia of Saulsburg, Tennessee; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Nola was preceded in death by her son, Gary Nichols; sisters, Cora Balentine, Ola Tomblin, Alice Nichols, and Alma Vickery; brothers, Arthur Vickery, David Vickery, and Jack Vickery; and two infant sisters.
