Beautaun Essary Marsh

Henderson, TN: Beautaun Wood Essary Marsh, was born 1/1/1925, the daughter of William Marcus Wood and Virginia Mae Garner Wood.
She worked at Salant and Salant in Henderson for over 25 years retiring due to disability. She was married to Kenneth Tillman Essary on February 2, 1946. They lived a short time in Memphis TN and in Peoria IL until they returned to Henderson. They were married until his death on December 16, 1984. She later was married to James Edwin Marsh until his death on June 18, 2000.
She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Chester County, where she attended for her entire life. She was a very loving wife and mother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a special love of God, reading her bible every day. Her family was her pride and joy in life.
She leaves behind a daughter, Darlene Essary Guinn (David) of Henderson, daughter-in-law, Linda Rush Essary (Jimmy) of Henderson; 3 grandsons, Brent Guinn (Christa) of Louisville, CO and their two sons, Grant Kenneth and Garrett William; Jason Essary (Alaina) of Summertown, TN and their four children, Scarlett, River, Finley, and Vivian; Justin Essary (Katie) of Estoril, Portugal and their son Arie; she also leaves behind 3 stepdaughters, Jennifer Legg (Larry) of Henderson, Anita Burton (Joe T) of Henderson and Janice Malecky (Geoff) of Fort Worth, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Tillman Essary; her second husband, James Edwin Marsh; her son, Jimmy Neal Essary (June 11, 2016); her parents; all of her brothers and sisters...Allene McKenzie (John); Euda Hall (Gene); Maurine Crouse(Spencer); Naomi Graves (Victor);Woodrow Wood (killed in WWII); Curtis Wood; William Marcus Wood, Jr.; 2 sisters who died at a very young age, Gladys Wood and Ruthie Wood.
The family asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Cave Springs Baptist Church in her memory.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Roby Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Sunday.
