Becky Marshall

Becky Marshall, 76, of Bartlett, passed from this life Saturday morning, May 29, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

She was born Wednesday, April 25, 1945, in Saulsbury, the only daughter of the late James Howard Wheeler and Ivy Earline West Wheeler and lived here until she married David Marshall on June 7, 1963, and they moved to Memphis. She met David when she was a freshman and he was a senior in high school, and they never dated anyone else. She operated a day care out of her home, keeping hundreds of children over the years and was a homemaker. She loved being around her grandchildren and was a member of Quail Ridge Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, whom she had been with over 62 years, survivors include a daughter, Angela Jennings of Cordova; a son and his wife, Randy and Kathleen Marshall of Hernando, MS; five grandchildren, James Marshall (Jennifer), Brandon Marshall, Adam Marshall (Cassandra), Melissa and Michael Jennings; and one great grandchild, Ameera Bella Marshall.
