Bethany Moore Wilson, age 36, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday morning, July 15, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Ricky Wilson, who survives, she worked as a teacher, having taught at Grand Junction Elementary, Bolivar Middle School and Lincoln Elementary School in Jackson prior to becoming disabled. She was born November 11, 1980 in Jackson, the daughter of Johnny and Susan Parks Moore of Bolivar and lived most of her life in Hardeman County. She married Richard "Ricky" Wilson on August 31, 2001 and was a member of the Tennessee Education Association, National Education Association and Shandy Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and her parents, survivors include two daughters Emma Katelynn Wilson and Maci Nicole Wilson, both of Bolivar; a brother, Jonathan Parks Moore (Takira) of Mercer; maternal grandparents, Billy & Margaret Parks of Bolivar; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents. The family requests memorial donations in her name be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
