Bettie Franks

Bettie Franks departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 7 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee, on December 25, 1933, the daughter of the late Lee and Maggie Mae Haggard Qualls. She was united in marriage to Herbye Franks, who preceded her in death on December 22, 1987.

Bettie was a homemaker and a member of East End United Methodist Church. She loved reading and all types of needlework. Bettie took pride in keeping her lawn neat and well manicured and enjoyed flower gardening.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Bettie was preceded in death by her brothers, McCoy Qualls, Kenneth Qualls, J.H. Qualls, and Max Qualls, and a sister, Mary Hipsher.

Bettie is survived by her sons, Garry Franks and his wife Jeannine of Goodlettsville, Tennessee and Dick Franks of Shalamar, Florida; grandchildren, Matthew Franks, Maggie Franks, Jade Franks, and Savannah Franks; and great grandchildren, Kaden Franks and Karter Franks.
