Mrs. Borden worked for Comfort Keepers doing administrative work and as a caregiver. She enjoyed traveling, working crossword puzzles, and visiting her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Ann Thompson of Savannah, Tennessee and Kathy Murray of Collierville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 1 brother.
