Betty Jo Hill Straign

Betty Jo Hill Straign was born April 29, 1932 in Ramer, TN the daughter of the late Charlie Hill and Katherine Hamm Hill.

She was a member of the Mount Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ramer, Tennessee. She retired from Tax & Earn in Eastview, TN.

Mrs. Straign departed this life on November 19, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 6 Months, 21 Days.

She is survived by two stepsons, Michael Straign and wife Cathy of Memphis, TN, Donnie Straign and wife Celeste of Austin, TX; a stepdaughter, Gayle Straign Hunt of Memphis, TN; a brother, Charles (Buddy) Hill of Ramer, TN; a sister, Dorothy Hill Suggs of Ramer, TN; 5 step grandchildren; and a host nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Straign was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Straign.
Family request those attending visitation and service to wear masks and observe social distancing.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude or Mt. Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Ramer, TN.
