BILL BOZZA
Beech Bluff, TN: William Henry Bozza, Sr. age 80 passed away April 7, 2019 at his home.
He was born May 12, 1938 in Nashville, TN the son of the late George Washington Bozza, Sr. and Sadie Bell Hunter Bozza. He grew up in Nashville. He worked in Pest Control for thirty years in Nashville, Tullahoma, Florida and then Jackson, where he owned Bozza’s Best Pest Control for the last ten of those years. He then worked over twenty years at Tuck’s Paneling, later Surplus Warehouse until 2009, when he retired for health reasons. In his later years he worked remodeling homes to keep busy. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
He married Betty Lou Boothe Webb and they made their home in Reagan for a few years before building their present home in Beech Bluff in 1993.
He enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and he also enjoyed fishing, reading his Bible and watching westerns.
He was a working man and would be restless if he could not occupy his time with productive work.
He loved his family and especially Lila his granddaughter. He always put everybody else above himself.
Mr. Bozza is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Boothe Webb Bozza of Beech Bluff; five sons, Billy Bozza, Jr. (Laura) of Jackson, Paul Bozza (Elaine) of Beech Bluff, Clinton Webb (Linda) of Parkers Crossroads, Brian Webb (Anne) of Reagan and Jason Webb (Holly) of Henderson; five daughters, Marion Sue Holmes (Ronnie) of Jackson, Donna Campbell of Crossville, TN, Angela Patrick (Bryan) of Beech Bluff, Jennifer Ward (Matt) of Beech Bluff and Ashley Stewart (Nick) of Jacks Creek; twenty six grandchildren, Bethanne Forsythe, Ali Bozza, Paul Bozza, Jr., Daniel Bozza, Logan Webb, Brianna Webb, Brielle Webb, Samuel Webb, Scarlett Webb, Cheyenne Webb, Andrew Webb, Kyra Riley, Allie Riley, Tina Collie, Amy Treadway, David Emison, Tiffany Norris, Spence Patrick, Ty Patrick, Anna Patrick, Lila Jenkins, Mason Ward, Braylen Stewart, Blayne Stewart, Tanner Stewart and Drake Stewart and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Ann Bozza and Tommy Bruce and two brothers, George Washington Bozza, Jr. and Ronnie Bozza.
Funeral services will be 2:00 AM Friday at Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday evening and beginning at 9:00 AM Friday morning at Friendship Baptist Church.
