Billy Dieckmeyer Henderson, TN: George William “Billy” Dieckmeyer, age 73 of Henderson died Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Charleston, MO on July 26, 1948 and was the adopted son of William and Myrtle McDaniels Dieckmeyer. He grew up in Charleston and was a 1966 graduate of Charleston High School. He married Marilyn Grant on March 20, 1974 and they made their home in Humboldt, TN where he worked in the grocery business until 1988. He then bought controlling interest in Sonic of Henderson and they moved to Henderson. He served as General Manager and was affectionately known by his employees as “Mr. Bill.” He was a huge St. Louis Cardinal fan and was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; two sons Brian William (Heather) Dieckmeyer and Andrew Michael Deickmeyer both of Henderson; and two grandchildren Sarah Beth and Blake William Dieckmeyer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Price. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Chester County Memory Gardens with Bro.
