Billy Lloyd Ray, Sr.

Billy Lloyd Ray, Sr. was born in Conroe, Texas on March 3, 1962, the son of the late Tom Wilson and Lillie Bell Morgan Ray. Billy departed this life on June 23, 2019, at the age of 57 years, 3 months, and 20 days.

Billy served his country in the United States Army and spent most of his life as a welder. He attended the Cowboy Church in Elgin, Alabama. Hunting, fishing, working on the farm, and spending time witih his grandchildren were some of his favorite things to do.

Billy is survived by his sons, Jesse Lee Ray and wife Hillary of Clifton, Tennessee, Billy Lloyd Ray, Jr. and wife Lindsay Kent of Waterloo, Alabama, and Richard Lynn Scott and wife Rebecca of Skiatook, Oklahoma; brother, Ricky Ray of Hernando, Mississippi; sisters, Barbara Terry and Vina Irons, both of Florence, Alabama and Martha Cox of Savannah, Tennesee; and grandchildren, Kaydence Ray, Scarlett Ray, Madelynn Ray, Hunter Ray, Delilah Ray, Lillie Ray, River Scott, Isabella Scott, and Raylen Scott.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Ray, Chester Ray, Leonard Ray, and Tommie Armon Ray.
