Bob J. Mellor

Bob J. Mellor was born June 2, 1925 in Medford, OR the son of the late George Travis and Clara Pearl Arbuthnot Mellor.

He was united in marriage to Elma Louise Voyles on July 5, 1946. Mrs. Mellor preceded him in death on November 14, 2000.

Mr. Mellor retired from McClellan Air Force Base as a production controller- foreman. Before moving to Selmer, he lived in Roseville, CA. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Fourth Street Church Of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. In his later years, he enjoyed viewing nature from his sun room and watching westerns or war movies.

Mr. Mellor departed this life on August 31, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 2 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by two daughters, Louise Gordon and husband Dave of Indianapolis, IN, Lynne Mellor of Selmer, TN; two sons, Steven Mellor of Storrs, CT, Brian Mellor and wife Linda of Golden Valley, AZ; a brother, Charles Mellor of Escalon, CA; six grandchildren, Bobby Gordon and wife Sheri, Shaun Gordon and wife Jaime, Brian Gordon and wife Jenny, Robert Radican and wife Ashley, Travis Coleman and wife Ashlyn, Shelby Moore and husband Andrew; nine great grandchildren, Rylee, Dakota, Savanna, Phoenix, Peyton, Brooklyn, Noah, Hailey, and Gavin; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Mellor was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Morrill; a brother, Ray Mellor.
