Bob Winborn was born on October 9, 1951 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late Vernon and Gladys Marie Christian Winborn.
On November 12, 1977, he was united in marriage to Kathy Johnson, who survives.
Mr. Winborn worked as a mechanic for Hardin County Solid Waste for 17 years, owned Bob Winborn Towing Service from 1980-2004, and worked for Claude Cole Barber Shop for several years. He attended Eureka United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, and playing cards with his buddies. Bob was known as a prankster and was always telling jokes and stories.
Bob Winborn departed this life on February 26, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 4 months, and 17 days.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy Johnson Winborn of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Julie Winborn Franks, Jennifer Winborn Phillips and her husband Chris, and Jamey Winborn Rich and her husband Phillip, all of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Blake Winborn and his wife Sherry, Barry Winborn and his wife Shawn, and Bruce Winborn, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Graham Franks and his wife Carlee, Mason Franks, Trae Franks, Lauren Phillips, Lacey Phillips, Dawson Rich, and Hallie Rich; and great grandchildren, Hudson Franks and Hazel Franks.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Franks.
