Bobby J. Burkhead

Bobby J. Burkhead departed this life on October 2, 2019, at the age of 52 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He was born in Hinsdale, Illinois on February 15, 1967, the son of the late Franklin Thurmond and Bonnie Faye Duncan Burkhead.

Bobby had lived in Florida, Illinois, and Tennessee. He liked classic cars, comics, Native American items, and action movies. Bobby especially loved his family.

He is survived by his children, Antarra Haumschilt and Matthew John Burkhead, both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Melody Woodruff of Selmer, Tennessee; brothers, Thurmond Dwayne Burkead of Ohio, William Pollock of Michigan, Dennis Treiber of Jacksonville, Florida, Steven Treiber of Jacksonville, Florida, Kurt Treiber of Jacksonville, Florida, and Allen Douglas Hiatt of Brookfield, Illinois; sisters, Lisa Davis of Jacksonville, Florida, Brenda Faye Taylor of Lexington, Tennessee, Lauretta Grammer of Savannah, Tennessee, Norma Heatherly of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Kathleen Moss of Savannah, Tennessee; stepmother, Rosemary Burkhead of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Pollock; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncle.
