Bobby Lynn Doles

Bobby Lynn Doles, Sr. was born March 7, 1949 in Hardeman County, TN the son of the late Jesse and Mary Ervin Doles. He was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Gowdy on January 27, 1968. Mrs. Doles preceded him in death on March 16, 2007.
Bobby was a man that put his family first and had a passion for singing. He spent a lot of time singing gospel music. He sang at the McNairy County nursing home with Beauty Hill Pentecostal Church on many occasions. Bobby's grandchildren where his world.
Mr. Doles departed this life on January 14, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 10 Months, 7 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Tonie Lynn Boggs and husband Howard Joseph of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Bobby Lynn Doles Jr. of Michie, TN; three grandchildren: Jessica Boggs, Joseph Boggs and Jordan Boggs; four brothers: Ed Ray Doles and wife Loretta of Hornsby, TN, Lawrence Doles of S.C., Willard Doles of Selmer, TN and Wayne Doles of Hornsby, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Doles was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Payne.
