Bobby Neal Cagle grew up in Stantonville, Tennessee. His dad owned a trucking business and Bob started driving at an early age. He always told he drove a truck to Memphis at 14 years of age.
At the age of 17, he went to work for Caterpillar Tractor in East Peoria, IL and worked there for 32 years. After retiring, he started working flea markets selling antique furniture, which he repaired and refinished. In 1995, he moved back to Selmer bringing his business with him. He worked with Mark Kennedy buying and refinishing antique furniture.
Bob enjoyed traveling and had been to every state but 8. While vacationing in Florida, he took up playing boccia ball. He had many interests but shop work was his favorite.
Mr. Cagle departed this life on March 18, 2020 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 7 Months, 18 Days. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Pattie Cagle Sprinkle and husband Patrick and Vickie Cagle Olson all of Arizona; three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Avis Lee and Bertha Lee Smith Cagle; great grandson, Scott.
