BONNI SCHUMPERT

Henderson, TN: Bonni Faye Schumpert age 75 passed away March 27, 2018 at her home.
Bonni was born March 13, 1943 in Beaumont, TX the daughter of the late Buschel Vincent Schumpert and Marjorie Camille Fulgham Schumpert Randolph. She graduated from Donelson High School in Donelson, TN. then married Edward Bray on December 23, 1967. She was a homemaker while her children were growing up. After her children were grown she began working part-time. She moved to Nashville in 1997 and worked full-time as a medical billing clerk. In 2006 she retired and moved to Henderson. She was a member of the Jacks Creek Church of Christ, she loved going to church and loved God above all else and especially enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family. She also loved spending time with her family and her friends. She enjoyed keeping her quarter horses, “Lucky” and “Nugget”.
She is survived by three daughters, Lori Roberts of Antioch, TN, Kelly Darby of Kansas and Becky Youngblood (Kevin) of Searcy, AR and a son, Christopher McKenzie of Coalinga, CA; five grandchildren, Jacquelyn Roberts, Karissa Williams, Khyle Youngblood, Gabriel Youngblood and Veronica Darby and two great grandchildren, Amelia Kadr and Grant Williams; two sisters, Kathryn Randolph of Springfield, TN and Nancy Smithers of Katy, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Carmen Youngblood.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made for her final expenses.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Shackelford Funeral directors – Crook Avenue with Kevin Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. service time at the Crook Ave. chapel.
