BONNIE HOOPER Bolivar, TN: Bonnie Marie Roland Hooper, age 92 passed away May 25, 2021 at Pine Meadows Nursing Home. She was born in Chester County October 17, 1928, daughter of the late CC. “Tip” and Lou Violet Isbell Roland. She attended school in Woodville, TN. She married Kenneth Edwin “Buster” Hooper in 1947 and they made their home in Hornsby, TN. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, and raising flowers. She loved her cats and being with her family and grandkids. She is survived by her brother W.T. Roland (Ellna Mae) of Henderson; sons Donald Hooper of Henderson, Vincent Hooper of Hornsby, Mike Hooper (Liz) of Gastonia, NC., Jerry Hooper of Hornsby, Jimmy Hooper of Hornsby, and Gary Hooper of Silerton; daughters Patsy Wilbanks of Walnut, MS., Janetta Hooper of Walnut, MS., and Linda Fitch (Christopher) of Memphis and thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband “Buster” Kenneth Edwin Hooper; brothers, Willard Roland and Robert Roland; a sister Imogene Moore and an infant son. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday May 27, 2021 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue, with Roger Hatch and Dennis McMahan officiating.
