Lavinia, TN: Bonnie Ree Neisler Maness, age 77, passed away December 14, 2020 at Northbrooke Healthcare in Jackson.

She was born January 3, 1943 in Henderson County, the Center Hill Community, the daughter of the late James David and Beaulah Aline Chandler Neisler. She attended Sardis High School. She married Major C. “Pete” Maness. She made her home in Henderson and Lexington. She was a loving, caring person giving her time to others. She had a gift of healing, and never met a stranger, and was a devout Christian.

She was a member of the Victory Temple Church.

Mrs. Maness is survived by four sons, Jeff Maness of Bells, Tony Maness of Lexington, Danny Maness of Beech Bluff and James Maness of Henderson and two daughters, Brenda Rhodes of Lexington and Gina Morris Smith of Lavinia; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Gordon Neisler of Lexington, and James Paul Neisler of Parsons and four sisters, Gearldene Jones of Henderson, Janie Dyer of Henderson, Diane Jones of Parsons and Marlene Austin of Bethel Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Neisler.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 18th at Henderson City Cemetery, with Shane Maness officiating.
