Bonnie Sherrill departed this life on Friday, September 4, 2020, at the age of 88 years, 7 months, and 22 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 13, 1932, the daughter of the late John Laurel and Mirle Scott Daniel. On February 19, 1962, she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Sherrill, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2006.
Bonnie was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, going to cookouts, and quilting.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Gammill and his wife Ruby of Savannah, Tennessee, Judy Gray of Savannah, Tennessee, and Jo Nell Walker of Glen, Mississippi; grandchildren, Carla Moss and her husband Benji, Timothy DeShazier, Misti Stricklin and her husband Lance, Kenny Gammill and his wife Beth, Kassi Gammill, Dewayne Boston, Julia Gray, Cindy Gammill, William Gammill, and Kimberly Sanders and her husband Dekaire; and 23 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Gammill; grandchildren, Johnny Boston and Julie Boston; great granddaughter, Madison Boston; brothers, Jobie Daniel, Eulus Daniel, Leo Daniel, Roy Daniel, and J.L. Daniel; and sisters, Verna Mae Paulk, Eloise Ward, Cleo Daniel Beckham, and Doris Carroll.
