BONNIE STRICKLIN TAYLOR
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 7, 1941 the daughter of the late Martin Johnson and Effie Bevis Stricklin.
Bonnie worked for Jean Rich, who ran Money Saver and she was a housekeeper and nannie. She loved to baby sit, and did most of her life. Every morning when she would wake up the first thing she would listen for was the rooster to crow and listen for the chickens. Bonnie loved to have visitors and always had something to talk about. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Biscuits and gravy, was one of Bonnie's favorite foods and just this Saturday her brother had gotten her two biscuits, and she ate both of them. Bonnie was a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church. She loved to listen to gospel music and always wanted you to sing to her.
Bonnie departed this life on March 19, 2018 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 12 days.
She is survived by one brother, Martin J. Stricklin, Jr., his wife, Anne of Savannah, Tennessee, and a sister-in-law, Carmon Stricklin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Travis Stricklin and one sister, Marcella Stricklin.
