Brandon Allen Burns

Brandon Allen Burns was born July 14, 1987 in Lawrenceburg, TN, the son of Dennis Alan Burns of Waynesboro, TN, who survives and the late Tammy Renee Russell Burns Nelson. He was united in marriage to Kacinda Peacock on December 23, 2011.

Mr. Burns was a general laborer, had served with the Tennessee National Guard and departed this life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 27 Years, 9 Months, 18 Days.

Other than his father, he is survived by his wife, Kacinda Burns of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Branden Aden and Bentley Ryan Bowen and Benjamin Isaiah and Trevan Dewayne Quinton Burns; a daughter, Brynleigh Elizabeth Shyvonne Burns; sister, Calli Renia Sanderson and husband, David of Waynesboro, TN; foster parents, Kenneth and Lorene Melson of Waynesboro, TN; foster sisters, Shannon Gobbell and husband, Brent of Waynesboro, TN and Beverly Melson of Columbia, TN; foster grandmothers, Irene Melson of Collinwood, TN and Syble Banks of Cypress Inn, TN; nephew, Ashton Xavior Sanderson; nieces, Paisley Leeann Sanderson and Brittany and Madison Gobbell.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Burns was preceded in death by a son, Brayden Xavier Burns.

Services will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Steven Brown, Justin Russell, Blake Russell, Trevor Holloway, Jeremy Brown and Jacob Peacock.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, May 7 2015 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
