BRENDA ANN BUSHNELL

REAGAN, TN; Brenda Bushnell, age 67, passed away on June 30 at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Brenda was born on August 14, 1951 in Jackson, TN to the late Ivy Grandison and Pearlie May Essary Smith. She grew up in the Enville community and graduated from Sardis High School in 1969. She married Ray Bushnell and they spent 45 years together. She was a homemaker, wife and mother. She loved going to church and yard sales. She enjoyed crafts and planting flowers.

Mrs. Bushnell is survived by her husband, Hunter Ray Bushnell; two sons, Toby Bushnell (Angie) of Lexington, Tracy Bushnell (Misty) of Henderson; two daughters, Amy Cook of Knoxville, and Trixie Moody (David) of Henderson; a brother, Glen Smith of Memphis; two sisters, Dortha Davis of Lenoir City, TN and Betty McClellan of Lenoir City, TN; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, J.T Smith, Dennis Smith, Gordon Smith, L.W. Smith, Paul Smith and Sam Smith; and seven sisters, Arlene Spincer, Mildred Benson, Jimmie Carnes, Ruby Crowell, Bobbie Helms, Maxine Organ and Wanda Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 2 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Donald Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Roby Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday at East Main.
