Brenton L. Bullock

Brenton Lee Bullock departed this life on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 27 days. He was born in Stockton, Missouri on November 27, 1931, the son of the late Harold Ray and Beatrice Burson Bullock. On September 9, 1956, he was united in marriage to Joyce Seamans, who survives.

Brenton loved the Lord and loved serving other people out in God's nature; he was the epitomize of service. He began by serving his country in the United States Army from September 1952 until September 1960. During his enlistment, he served as a medic and was stationed in Japan for a year. After his time in the service, Brenton went on to hospital administration and held that position at Madison Hospital in Madison, Tennessee and Highland Hospital in Portland, Tennessee. For 33 years, he was the manager at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Youth Camp in Madison, Tennessee and served at several camps including, Indian Creek Youth Camp in Tennessee, Broken Arrow Ranch in Kansas, and Camp AuSable in Michigan. After his retirement, his service continued as manager at Camp Meeting Grounds Facility in Michigan. Brenton was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bullock of Savannah, Tennessee; his children, Brenton Lee Bullock II of Savannah, Tennessee, Dick Bullock and his wife Donna of Bad Axe, Michigan, Cynthia Bullock Santos and her husband Alio of Centerville, Massachusetts, and Brenda Harvey of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren, Cody Robinson Bullock, Casey Robinson Bullock, Heather Shurtliff, Heidi Gaiten, Hannah Judson, Erin Garrens, Alio Santos III, Bradley Santos, Kristina Stoneburner, Ashley Bishop, and Sarah Anderson; great grandchildren, Jaden Shurtliff, Lily Shurtliff, Kimber Shurtliff, Kate Shurtliff, Merideth Gaiten, Alio Santos IV, Evan Santos, Mahea Santos, Avery Santos, Emilee Zori, Jason, Marisa, Jayda, Aubree, Isaiah, Josiah, and Elijah; and a sister, Betty Ables of Savannah, Tennessee.
