Private Services and Interment will be held for Brian Clifton at family request. Anyone who may be attending should wear a mask or facial covering and practice social distancing. Thank you.

JEFFREY BRIAN CLIFTON was born on May 13, 1985 at Baptist East in Memphis, to Donnie and Gina Clifton of Middleton. Brian passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 35. Brian leaves behind his parents who loved him more than life itself, and his beloved sister and sidekick, Lauren Clifton, who thought he hung the moon. He also leaves many friends and relatives, and two very special cousins, Katie and Lee Barkley, who had many adventures with Brian and Lauren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Archie and Thelma Clifton of Pocahontas TN, and Frank and Esta Lee Martini of Walnut.

Brian lived in Middleton all his life. He was a member of Middleton Methodist Church, where he accepted Christ as his saviour as a young teen. He was a 2003 graduate of Middleton High School and later attended the University of Memphis. He started his work career at Kirk's Supermarket, worked two summers at TKE, and during his college years at American Eagle at Oak Court. Brian loved life and was excited to see what comes next. He had the best sense of humor and always made us laugh. He was interested in any new technology that came out and he loved all sports, especially tennis and basketball. Tennis was the sport that brought he and his sister together as friends. They loved practicing together and playing in tournaments. The last thing they did together was playing tennis at Shiloh Ridge Athletic Club in Corinth.

Brian became totally disabled from a car accident in 2005. We are thankful for the many healthcare professionals that crossed our paths, starting with his wonderful private duty nurses: Linda, Michelle, Mirka, Ladonna and many others who became our friends as well. A special thank you to Dr.Neal Aguillard of Mid South Pulmonary who took care of Brian for 15 years, always with care and concern for the family as well. A very special thank you to Stacie Grantham our first home health nurse, who was there at the first, and again at the end. Stacie you were, and still are, a rock for us and a comfort. And finally, thank you to Stacey at AseraCare Hospice, who took so much responsibility off of our shoulders that last night so we could spend every second with our son, and allowed him to take his last breath with dignity.
