BUSTER QUALLS
Beech Bluff, TN: Floyd E. "Buster" Qualls age 70, passed away August 25, 2021 at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, TN.
He was born May 18, 1951 in Brownsville, TN, the son of the late Floyd and Ester Rosetta Prince Qualls. He grew up in Brownsville and graduated from Haywood High School in 1970.
He was a great Christian, giving his life to the Lord in 1963 at Harmony Baptist Church in the Stanton Community. He was a director of music at Luray Baptist Church in Luray, TN. Buster had a love for playing music especially drums. He was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2017.
He loved his wife, Anita, his church family, his two sisters, Nancy Hendrix (Larry) of Stanton, Martha Ledford (Dale) of Brownsville; his brother, Wayne Qualls (Patricia) of Stanton and eight nieces and nine nephews.
He was a retired member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Mr. Qualls is survived by his wife, Anita Kay Buckley Qualls of Beech Bluff; two stepdaughters, Amanda McDaniel of Beech Bluff and Sonia Tucker (Tim) of Jackson; a stepson, Mike Jerrolds of Adamsville and six grandchildren, Brooke McDaniel (fiancé Jason), Bradley McDaniel, Nathan Tucker, Wesley Greenway, Bethany Greenway and Brantley Greenway and one great grandchild, Dawson Bedwell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 28th at Luray Baptist Church with Clint Burkhead and Grover Westover officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Cemetery at Adamsville, TN.
The family will receive friends at Luray Baptist Church 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday.
