Butch Brown

Butch Brown, 77, of Bolivar, passed from this life Thursday, December 9, 2021.

He was born Tuesday, September 19, 1944, in Batesville, MS, son of the late Terry Leon Brown and Margie Collins Brown and had lived in different places in Mississippi prior to living in Hardeman County for the past 50-60 years. He married Virginia Ann Nails on June 5, 1964, and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2020. He was a driver for Roadway Inc. for a short time then owned his own trucks for about 5 years. After that he began leasing to other companies. He also had worked for the Hardeman County Highway Department for a short time. He loved to fish, hunt, ride motorcycles, and horses. His family states that he enjoyed fish frys, camping, big trucks and being on the road with his truck, but especially loved being around his family. Mr. Brown was Baptist in faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Ann Churchwell (Lynn Graham) of Saulsbury; a brother, Gary Frank Brown (Kathryn) of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren, Jonathan Henson (April) of Somerville and Nickolas Henson (Brandy) of Hornsby; and great grandchildren, Cody, Sophia, Hartley, Hunter and Olivia Henson.
