Cari Lynn Ray, age 26, of Toone, passed from this life on Monday morning, April 6, 2020, at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.
Born in Jackson, TN, she lived most all of her life in Hardeman County. She was a 2011 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and took courses at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Cari was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church.
She worked as a CNA at NHC-Somerville and Chester County Nursing Home and was also a dispatcher for the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

She leaves her mother, Lorrie Stamey (Todd Stewart) of Beech Bluff; her father, Casey Hopper of Toone; her brother, Dustin Michael Duck (Cassidy) and son, Carter, of Pinson; her paternal grandmother, Girlene Hopper of Toone; paternal great-grandmother, Oleta Randolph of Bolivar; aunt, Mindy Scott (Brad) of Southaven, MS; her long-time boyfriend, Aaron Watkins of Toone; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joanne Welch and Larry Ray; and paternal grandfather, Robert "T.T." Hopper.
