Carol Wesson

Carol Wesson departed this life on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at the age of 70 years and 8 months. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 15, 1949, the daughter of the late JW and Lois Haynes Price.

Carol attended the UT College of Medicine in Northeast Mississippi where she studied nursing science and became a registered nurse. She worked as a Tennessee Health Management Compliance Consultant and a Healthcare Surveyor for the State of Tennessee. She was a member of the New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge in Savannah, Tennessee. Carol loved her family, her grandchildren, and going to the mountains.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Killingsworth, Sandra Hudson and her husband Mike, Sherry Hunt and her husband Steve, and Kenny Wesson, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jillian Dale, Whitney Walls, Colton Killingsworth, Tyler Rinks, and AJ Killingsworth; and great grandchildren, Allie Dale, Abby Ryan Dale, and Hunter Walls.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Jean White, her brother, Danny Price, and a grandson, Michael Cody Killingsworth.

In response to Governor Lee's Executive Order 17 which took effect at 12:01 AM March 23, 2020, there will be no public visitations or services until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
