Charles "Chuck" Arlin Prater

February 9, 1938 — December 8, 2019

Charles “Chuck” Arlin Prater was born February 9, 1938 in McMinnville, TN the son of the late Arlin and Irene Woodley Prater.

Mr. Prater retired from United States Army after twenty-two years of military service. He also worked for First Tennessee Bank for twelve years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was also a devoted member of the Brighton Church of Christ in Brighton, Tennessee.

Mr. Prater departed this life on December 8, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Russell Prater of Bartlett, TN; a daughter, Susan Renee Boles of Olive Branch, MS; a son, Terry Lee Boles, and wife Robin Raspberry Boles of Bartlett, TN and a granddaughter, Marilyn Faye Boles of Bartlett, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Prater was preceded in death by a two sisters, Francis Prater Hamer and Lila Ruth Prater Thompson and a brother, James Donald Prater.
