Charles Terry Ingle, 77, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Bolivar, died Nov. 3 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.
Mr. Ingle was born in Savannah, TN, on Dec. 10, 1941, son of the late Charlie and Elsie Shook Ingle. He was a graduate of Hardin County High School and the University of Memphis. He spent his career in manufacturing engineering before retiring to Georgia. He was a former member of Bolivar Rotary Club, having served as president, member and former board member of the Hardeman County Country Club and a member of the Bolivar First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf, traveling throughout Europe and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Jacobs Ingle of Acworth, GA.; two sons, Timothy H. Ingle (Sharon) of Frisco, TX and Douglas A. Ingle (Stacy) of Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Abigail Ingle and Audrey Ingle, both of Frisco, and Ansley and Andrew Ingle of Acworth; and a sister, Mary Sue Davis of Arlington, TN. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lindsey Ingle of Bolivar.
