Charline Fitts departed this life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 9 days. She was born in Mississippi County, Arkansas, on June 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Dacie Ruth Heral Baremore. On August 11, 1950, she was united in marriage to Emory Ulvie Fitts, who preceded her in death on October 30, 1989.
Charline was a member of the Savannah Foursquare Church, and enjoyed fishing and growing flowers in her garden.
Charline is survived by her children, Charles Emory Fitts and his wife Jackie of Calhoun City, Mississippi, Lorene Yvonne Morris and her husband Ricky of Savannah, Tennessee, Larry Bobe Fitts and his wife Reba of Enville, Tennessee, and James Elmer Fitts and his wife Shellia of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Barnard Elmer Baremore and his wife Dasda of Kampsville, Illinois; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Charline was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Gay Riley; grandchild, Charles Emory Fitts, Jr.; sisters, Mary Lambert, Eveline Sanders, and Juanita White; half brother, Charles Baremore; and half sister, Abalee Hoskin.
