Christopher Everett Ervin was born January 12, 1985, living all his life in Bolivar, TN. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 17, 2022. Chris was a loving son, Dad, brother and friend to many. He was compassionate, kind and caring and will be greatly missed, but is safe at home with his Savior.
Chris worked with his father, Boyd Ervin and brother, George Ervin, operating MSC Feeds in Bolivar and Grand Junction for many years. He also taught school at Fayette Ware in Somerville and worked at Sunrise GMC and Carmax in Bartlett. He worked for Penny Newman Grain for the past year with his mother. He enjoyed working in the agriculture field. He was a 2003 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and a 2014 graduate of Tennessee Tech in Automotive.
He leaves behind 2 daughters, Kayleigh Ervin and Lorelei Ervin of Bolivar, who were the light of his world, and his mother and step-father, Kline & Kay Mengle of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his father, George Boyd Ervin, Sr. He also leaves his ex-wife Ashley Law and husband, Jesse, of Bolivar.
Maternal grandparents surviving are Hayes & Louise Callahan of Saulsbury; three brothers, Ryan (Rhonda) Boyd, George Ervin, Jr., (Angie) of Bolivar, and Rocky (Cindy) Mengle of Damascus, MD; five sisters, Susan (Mike) Skibba of Hickory Valley, Cindy (Thomas) Greene and Becky (Richard) Ervin, all of Bolivar, Cheryl Thompson of Boonsboro, MD and Cathi (Tom) Musser of Smithsburg, MD; and host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Everett & Marie Ervin and an uncle Dennis Callahan.
We have lost a light in our world but heaven has gained a special angel, Shine BRIGHT!
