CLARA MAE CHERRY HOLLEY
Enville, TN: Clara Mae Cherry Holley age 97 passed away September 1, 2019 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 23, 1922 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Hugh Frank and Clestus Almeda Young Cherry. She was a seamstress at Salant & Salant, MKD in Enville and a machine operator at L & S Precision Tool. She made her home at Cabo most of her life and had made her home with Larry and Susie the past seven years. She loved to cook and enjoyed flowers. She was a member of the Enville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Holley is survived by two daughter-in-law’s, Susie Holley of Enville and Sherye Holley Page of Lexington; grandchildren, Lisa L. Goodrich (Joe), Sherry L. Smith (Randy) and Daniel R. Holley (Adrienne) and great grandchildren, Ashley (Smith) Austin (Daniel), Melissa Goodrich, Michael Goodrich, Kiersten Holley and Seth Holley.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Leon Holley and Donnie Ray Holley and two brothers, Guy Cherry and Curtis Cherry and four sisters, Mildred Jane Bors, Marie Kovack, Lodie Beecham and Carnell Austin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ricky Tedford officiating. Burial will follow in Cabo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday.
