CYNTHIA JANE SHUTT POTTS

was born in Hayti, Missouri on July 31, 1956 the daughter of the late Edwin "Hode" and Mary Lou Morris Shutt.

Cindy worked for K&T Shoes in Savannah, Tennessee, where she was a cashier, stocked shelves and did shoe repair. She lived in Adamsville, Tennessee for the past several years, on a quiet street near the city park. Cindy lived there with her cat, Benny, and her dog, Mika. Her door and porch were always open for visitors. Cindy was always willing to help out anyone in need. Whether it was a helping hand, to use her truck, moving help, or to help pay a bill; she was always there. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a joy to be around and to interact with. Cindy was a free spirit who was able to make anything she set her mind to. Her ability to create was unparalleled. Cindy was an amazing woman.

She departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 25 days.

Cindy is survived by her two daughters, Melissa McBee of Decatur, Georgia and Mary Hess of West Linn, Oregon; granddaughter, Amelia Hess; sisters, Donna Love of Nashville, Tennessee and Bonnie Eubank of Sardis, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin "Eddie" Shutt.
