Dannie Wayne Weaver, age 65 passed away September 20, 2018 at his home in Henderson.
He was born September 21, 1952 in Jackson, Tennessee, son of the late Johnnie Monroe and the late Willie Barnell Allen Weaver. He was raised in the Montezuma Community of Chester County and was a 1970 graduate of Chester County High School. As a youth, he worked with his father building houses and after high school he worked full time in home construction with his father and brother. He was injured in the late 70’s and had to give that work up due to disability. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially in his younger years.
He is survived by a brother Benny Weaver and wife Barbara; two nieces Stephanie Duck and husband Brian; Tabitha Smith and husband Jimmie; two great nephews Ben Arnold and Dylan Arnold all of Henderson. In addition he is survived by his beloved dog, Buster, who was his pride and joy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Joey Monroe Weaver.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, September 23 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s East Main Chapel with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Estes Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at the East Main Chapel.
