DARRYN BUSBY
Henderson, TN: William Darryn Busby age 48, passed away July 19, 2022 at his home.
He was born April 2, 1974 in Jackson, TN. He primarily grew up in Henderson and was a 1992 graduate of Chester County High School. He had also attended school in Lebanon, TN, Nashville, TN and Simi Valley, CA. He took college courses through Jackson State Community College, Ohio University, enrolled in TN Higher Education and was working toward an Associate Degree at Tennessee State to become a legal aide and had worked at Tatum & Tatum in Henderson and Marcus Lipham Attorney in Jackson.
He had been an EMT and was active in the Sweetlips Volunteer Fire Department and the Chester County Rescue Squad.
He was a very caring, devoted and forgiving person. He was very likeable and never met a stranger.
Darryn's faith remained unshakeable during his long battle with cancer and other hardships. He often said, "God will heal me here or in heaven." He attended Faith Baptist Church.
Darryn is survived by his mother, Lou Nell Johnson Busby and father, William Donald Busby; uncles, Jay W. Johnson (Linda) of Bonita Springs, FL and Tex Ray Busby (Rosie) of Sweetlips and aunt Patsy Davis (Kenneth) of Henderson; great uncles, Talmo Johnson of Henderson and Robert Brewer of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.C. and Lucille Johnson and Ward and Frances Busby.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, July 23rd at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Denny Broadway and Tracy Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time.
