Daykoda Stephen (Kody) Martin of Antioch, TN, formerly of Waynesboro, TN, was born January 9, 1993 in Florence, AL, the son of Jeffery Stephen and Sandy Louise Stults Martin of Cynthiana, KY, who survive. Kody was a maintenance worker with Block By Block and was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky
He departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Antioch, Tennessee at the age of 26 Years, 1 Month, 2 Days.
Other than his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Dylan Martin of Carlisle, KY and Ethan Martin of Cynthiana, KY; a sister, Chloe Annagrace Martin of Cynthiana, KY; a niece, Jasemine Martin; his grandmother, Kathy Ayers of Waynesboro, TN; his great-grandmother, Irene Stults of Cypress Inn, TN; aunts, uncles, cousins.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, P. I. (Bill) and Wilma Martin and E. J. Ayers.
Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday, February 15, 2019 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
Following the services, his body will be cremated.
