Debbie Exum

Deborah Ann Marshall Exum (Debbie) was born January 7, 1954 in Barstow, California. Debbie went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2022. In her earlier life she worked for several area florists and also for the McNairy County Board of Education. Debbie also owned and operated Ceramic Country Impressions and Gift Shop for 7 years.

Debbie was a member of the Sulphur Springs Methodist Church.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Jenkins; her father, William Marshall; a baby brother, Joseph Claude Marshall; and her beloved step-father of 54 years, Freddie Jenkins.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike Exum of Selmer, Tennessee; 2 sons, Jeff Exum and wife Angie of Selmer, Tennessee and Jason Exum and wife Melissa of Adamsville, Tennessee; and her precious grandchildren: Alexander Exum, Emma Grace and Julie Anna Exum, and Tyler Leitschuh, who gave her the most wonderful days of her life.

Debbie's family also included 5 half-brothers: Tommy Jenkins of Henderson, Oneal Jenkins of Selmer, Joe Marshall of Illinois, Charles Marshall of Caseyville, Illinois, and Tom Marshall; a half- sister, Sherry Smith of Fairview Heights, Illinois; and her step-mother, Pecola Marshall, also of Fairview Heights, IL.
