Deborah Morey

Deborah Morey was born on April 3, 1956 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clarence and Rachel Ellen Qualls Austin.

On April 25, 1998, she was united in marriage to Matthew Morey, who survives.

Deborah worked as a head cook for Buffalo River Trail Ride.

Deborah Morey departed this life on June 26, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 23 days.

She is survived by her sons, Roy Lynn Buttrey of Nashville, Tennessee and Christopher Allen Buttrey of Alabama; daughter, Jilleen Stults Buttrey of Sardis, Tennessee; sisters, Sue Martin of Sardis, Tennessee, Elizabeth Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee, and Eva Cotner of Counce, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by 9 siblings and 2 grandchildren.
