Deborah Hannah Toombs

Deborah Hannah Toombs was born April 25, 1951 in the District of Columbia, the daughter of the late Sidney Augusta and Judith Maureen Vance Starnes.

She was united in marriage to Larry Toombs on February 14, 1984.

Mrs. Toombs worked with her husband at Larry Toombs & Associates in Memphis, TN as a Real Estate Appraiser for approximately 23 years. Mr. Toombs often joked that "she was the associate." She enjoyed traveling and cooking, especially when she didn't have to. Mrs. Toombs was a member of the Selmer First Christian Church and loved her church family dearly.

Mrs. Toombs departed this life on December 17, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 7 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry Toombs of Bethel Springs, TN; five step grandchildren: Alexandria Connolly, Michael Toombs, Gabriela Toombs, Heather Solis, and Jesse Solis; four step great-grandchildren; four sisters: Cindy Langlois, Trisha Smith, Tammy Justice, and Tina Heath; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toombs was preceded in death by a stepson, Larry Dewayne Toombs, and a stepdaughter, Sonja Marie Solis.
