DELENE H. LEDBETTER
Henderson, TN: Delene Hooper Ledbetter age 90 passed away September 20, 2019 at her home.
She was born June 26, 1929 in Hardeman County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ivy Zenola Cox Hooper. She grew up in the Woodville Community of Chester County.
She worked for forty years as a bookkeeper for the Lexington Livestock Company retiring at age seventy-five. She was an excellent seamstress. She loved sports especially baseball and was an Atlanta Braves fan. She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and extracurricular activities. Her family was always first and foremost and she loved all of them unconditionally. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson.
Mrs. Ledbetter is survived by a son Randy Naylor of Henderson and two daughters, Kathy Hall of Henderson and Jimmie Thompson of Jackson; nine grandchildren, Vikki Hebert, Stephanie Espitia, John Weeks, Mary Kathryn Rice, Anne Nicole Maness, Michael Anthony Naylor, Jack Hall, Katie Hall and Alex Naylor, twenty eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda Weeks Gray and a sister, Billye Mollyhorn, a brother, C.P. Hooper and one granddaughter Jennifer Reaves.
There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
