Dewayne Ernest Boston
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 10, 1972 the son of the late Ernest Hugh Boston and Judy Ann Gammill Gray.
Dewayne was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, rock hunting, mussel diving, collecting antiques, and spending time with his nephew, family and friends.
Dewayne departed this life on June 10, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 48 years and 9 months.
He is survived by one sister, Julia Gray of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchild, Braxton Boston; uncles, Phillip Gammill, Johnny Gammill, Jackey Gammill, and Gary Eugene Gammill; and aunts, Jill Gammill, Rita Gammill, Tracy Gammill Ventura, and Ruby Gammill.
In addition to his parents, Dewayne was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Gray; daughter, Madison Boston; brother, Johnny "Bugs" Boston; sister, Julie Boston; grandparents, W. S. Gammill, Bonnie Sherrill, Charles Sherrill, Icie Pilkinton, Roosevelt Moore, and Betty Moore; uncle, Jerry Lynn Gammill; and aunts, Virginia Pilkinton and Jo Nell Walker.
