Dewey Lynn Barrier

Dewey Lynn Barrier departed this life on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 23 days. He was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 21, 1956, the son of the late Bobby Dean and Mildred Della Scott Barrier.

Dewey attended New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah, Tennessee. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives, trading and selling, loved to hunt, and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In his lifetime, Dewey had worked for Wise Company as a manager, Williams Cabinet Shop, A&G Trucking, and Paris Manufacturing.

He is survived by his daughter, Trena Lynn Malone of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kelan Davison, Jaxon Malone, Hunter Malone,Kelsey Brown and her husband Hunter, and Walker Yerby; brothers, D.J. Barrier and David Barrier, both of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Debra White of Waterloo, Alabama, and Kathy LaRue of Athens, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Dewey was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Barrier and a sister, Bobbie Ann Swaffer.
