Diana Napier Goodrum was born November 30, 1946 in Hazard County, KY the daughter of the late Joe and Lily Miller Napier. She was one of 6 children; three girls and three boys.
She was united in marriage to James Wayne Goodrum in August of 1966. Mr. Goodrum preceded her in death on July 3, 2003, following 36 years of marriage.
Mrs. Goodrum graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1965. She attended nursing school and worked as a CNA for Volunteer Home Health in Parsons, Tennessee covering Chester, Hardin, and McNairy Counties. Tending her flower garden and riding in her son-in-law Zach's reproduction of "The General Lee" were some of her favorite pastimes. Mrs. Goodrum was of the Catholic faith, but also attended Piney Grove Church when she was able.
Mrs. Goodrum departed this life on September 18, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Eyvette Russom of Arlington, TN and Jolene Burney and husband Zachary of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren: Jon Graham of Arlington, TN, Abigail Graham of Oakland, TN, and Keeley Russom of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
