Diane Connor McMurry

DIANE CONNOR MCMURRY

was born in Henderson, Tennessee on August 30, 1954 the daughter of the late Vodie Levi and Birtie Lois Pitts Connor.

On July 17, 1972 she was united in marriage to Tony Michael McMurry, who survives.

Diane was the Assistant Manager for 15 years at Dollar Tree in Savannah. She also had worked for H.I.S. in Saltillo, Tennessee for 26 years. Diane was an avid reader and loved cross stitching. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Diane departed this life on November 11, 2018 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 64 years, 2 months and 12 days.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, Tony, she is survived by her children, Stacy McMurry of Sardis, Tennessee and Shawn McMurry and his wife Christy of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Connor Tidwell, Cailey Tidwell, Macey Jane McMurry and Mason McMurry; sisters, Nancye Grissom of Saltillo, Tennessee and Jo Bailey of Milledgeville, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great great nieces; and two special cousins, who were like sisters, Cindy Coleman and Debbie Goodman.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Connor, a special niece, Kimberly Justin and brother in law, Gerald Grissom.
