DIANNE DURRANCE
Henderson, TN: Georgia Dianne Durrance age 71, passed away February 2, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born May 17, 1949 in Henderson, the daughter of the late Norma Jean Burkeen. She grew up in Henderson and graduated from Chester County High School. She married Van Thomas Durrance right after high school and they made their home in Henderson. Mr. Durrance died in 2001.
She worked for several years at Bolton Ford, Golden Circle Ford, Lofton Chevrolet, selling cars and doing bookwork. She loved the Tennessee Vols and especially the Lady Vols basketball, as she herself played basketball in High School.
Mrs. Durrance is survived by a son, Brent Durrance of Henderson; two grandchildren, Shelby Durrance and Gracie Durrance and a great grandchild, Aria Durrance; a brother, Ruel Burkeens (Diane) of Finger and a sister, Michelle Burkeens of Sweetlips.
Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Monday, February 8th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Ken Frye officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM service time on Monday.
