Henderson, TN: Nancy Dianne Hayley Gooch, age 72, passed away Saturday morning, August 15, 2020 at Jackson General Hospital.

She was born and raised in Memphis, TN the daughter of the late John Wesley and Agnes Jewell Ferguson Hayley. She married Brian Gooch June 28, 1996 and they made their home in Henderson. She was a wife and mother who enjoyed singing and writing poems and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Brian Lamar Gooch and four sons; Bill Dempsey (Andrea) of Jackson, Jeff Dempsey of Pinson, Bob Dempsey of Beech Bluff, Shane Dempsey of Jackson, and step son Kristopher (Jennifer) Gooch of Jackson, a brother Roy Hayley of Henderson and nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Jacky Ray Dempsey and a sister Betty Jo Brogaard.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue Chapel with Randy Mead officiating.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue beginning at 12 noon Wednesday until 2:00 pm service time.
