Dick Roland Tyner

Dick Roland Tyner was born July 9, 1936 in North Manchester, IN the son of the late Harold and Ruth Judd Tyner.

He was united in marriage to Bethel Ann Smithers on November 19, 1957.

Mr. Tyner worked in the purchasing department for the City of Memphis for over 25 years. He was a member of the St. Jude Apostle Catholic Church in Selmer, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1957.

Mr. Tyner departed this life on March 7, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 7 Months, 26 Days. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bethel Ann Tyner of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Tiffany Tyner of Selmer, TN; a son, Terry Tyner and wife Dawn of Memphis, TN; a sister, Marilynn Rompinen of Pensacola, FL; and fourteen nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Tyner was preceded in death by a brother, Dean A. Tyner.

A Funeral Mass will be held on March 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church in Selmer, Tennessee, with Rev. Father Wayne H. Arnold and Deacon Jim Gray officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM in the Corinth National Cemetery at Corinth, Mississippi.
