Dock White departed this life on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 4 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 26, 1943, the son of the late Herbert and Annie Bonee White. On August 1, 1961, he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Melson, who preceded him on November 1, 2014.
Dock worked in maintenance at the Hardin County Courthouse and had also been an electrician at Clayton Homes. He attended Plummer's Chapel Church. Dock loved fishing, camping, and being with his family.
He is survived by his children, Tommy White and Marty White and his wife Christy, all of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Joyce Boroughs of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Thelma White of Arkansas, and Etta Sue White of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler White, Lindsey Anderson, Carson White, and Christian Porter; and great grandchild, Aidan Anderson.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Dock was preceded in death by a son, Terry White; sisters, Lillie Hays, Willie White, Lorene Melson, and Ruby Hobbs; and brothers, Hubert White, Frank White, and Robert Earl White.
